Distilleries

It’s an understatement to say that whisky is important to Scotland and Ireland. Many of the distilleries are in coastal locations and we are able to visit by yacht.

The following coastal distilleries have been included in past itineraries – Loch Ranza, Bushmills, Springbank, Glen Scotia, Kilkerran, Laphroaig, Lagavulin, Ardbeg, Caol Ila, Bunnahabhain, Bowmore, Bruichladich, Jura, Oban, Tobermory, Ardnamurchan, Talisker, Isle of Harris, Highland Park and Scapa. New distilleries are being opened, so the list is not finished! In 2023, after a gap caused by Covid, our German Whisky enthusiasts are back on board so I'm confident that a couple of new distilleries will be on the agenda.

Visits can be arranged during some of the scheduled trips or a whisky week can be arranged for a whole boat group.
